Job description

Requisition Summary

This role's responsibility is to ensure that PACCAR Parts has the right parts, at the right place, at the right time in the aftermarket supply chain for North America. This is accomplished through leading a team of managers and planners who collaborate with suppliers, our distribution centers, and internal teams to manage inventory and ensure product flows as expected.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Responsible for order management of product shipping to PACCAR Parts distribution centers across North America and Panama as well as products that ship directly from our suppliers to the dealer network.  
  • Leads a team of managers whose teams are responsible for ordering based on forecasted demand, supplier management, and execution of strategic projects to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Responsible for developing material planning strategic direction and leading internal projects related to the execution of those strategic initiatives.
  • Benchmarks with other companies and brings forward systems/process improvements to ensure continued excellence in inventory optimization and planning systems.
  • Works with the Assistant Director of Materials to exceed yearly departmental goals and metrics for world class supply chain performance.
  • Responsible for recommendations regarding the development of yearly departmental budgets.
  • Communicates and collaborates with Suppliers, Internal Customers, and PACCAR Parts Senior Management on matters relating to the aftermarket supply chain.
  • Supports other departments at PACCAR with resolution of issues in the supply chain.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required – Master’s Degree desired
  • 7+ Years of supply chain management, inventory control, or operations experience
  • 4+ Years of supervisory to mid-level management experience.
  • Previous SAP, JDA planning experience desired
  • Six Sigma Experience desired
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage under difficult and stressful situations.
  • Experience implementing and executing cost savings initiatives.
  • Advanced PC and database skills with ability to understand data from a variety of sources.

Salary Range: 

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $119,100 - $168,300 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
