The B-52 Bomber powered by the TF33 engine provides the USAF with an extremely important mission. Over the years, the mission readiness for this weapon system has degraded and the USG is working closely with P&W to recover the sustainment of the TF33 fleet. As a result, the TF33 program team has brought on new contracts requiring the program to grow by 3X.
The TF33 Materials Manager is responsible for the management of proposals, orders, and multiple customer agreements supporting all TF33 customers: DLA, US Air Force, and NATO. The key function in this role is to support aftermarket spare part sales through various SAP transactions and reporting. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.
What You Will Do
  • Manage all USAF DLR parts to ensure every part is accounted for from sourcing through delivery. This includes: regular maintenance of CDRL/database, continuous schedule alignment of supply and demand, utilizing various excel sheets and SAP to understand status of parts, pushing parts through each phase of the process.
  • Detailed understanding of customers' critical pacing material and reporting out monthly to USAF on delivery status on the most critically needed parts for the Tinker depot.
  • Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for, successful material alignment, material sourcing, material expedite, and material shipment.
  • Ability to receive inputs internally and package and deliver clear external messaging to the customer.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • BS/BA degree.
  • 8 years of Business and/or Supply Chain experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of Business and/or Supply Chain experience.
  • US Citizenship required. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Utilizing strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal - in relating directly with the U.S. Air Force, DLA, and NATO Customers is key to this role.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Previous SAP experience desired; working knowledge of MRP/sales orders in SAP.
  • Previous experience with DLA Aviation and/or USAF customer and contracts preferred.
  • Efficient in use of Office software (Teams, One Note, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
