Job description

Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a full-time Materials Management Assistant (1.0 FTE) to join the Materials Management department. The Materials Management Assistant works under the Materials Manager to effectively assist in supply chain operations throughout the facility. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize materials management software for supply chain operations
  • Inventory and stock large department supply storage locations
  • Receive, process, and distribute medical and non-medical supplies
  • Fill small department supply requisitions
  • Process and place stock and non-stock orders with approved vendors and suppliers
  • Assist in maintaining an organized, efficient, and clean storeroom and other supply locations throughout the Western Wisconsin Health facility as it applies to product rotation and logistics
  • Provide effective customer service to a variety of staff including medical providers, nursing and administrative staff
  • Demonstrates awareness, understanding and respect of cultural diversity and patients of all ages and socioeconomic groups; and,
  • Other duties as assigned.
