Job Summary:
Materialise is a company focused on innovative software services, and they are seeking a Software Program Manager to lead and manage multi-stream programs and projects. The role involves designing high-impact solutions, monitoring project execution, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multi-stream programs and projects within our software services portfolio
• Design and deliver high-impact solutions in collaboration with customers, account managers, and technical experts
• Translate strategic objectives into comprehensive, cross-functional program and project plans aligned with organizational goals
• Monitor and optimize program and project execution, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and budgets
• Ensure effective and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders (customers, partners, and onshore/offshore teams)
• Report on program and project status to stakeholders at both executive and technical levels
• Set clear objectives, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment on complex or divergent topics
• Coordinate across teams and ensure seamless collaboration in an international environment
• Drive change management efforts to support the successful adoption of solutions
• Maintain a goal-oriented approach while ensuring strong attention to detail across multiple initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of project management experience, including software development projects (or a background in software development)
• 1 – 2+ years of experience managing programs or multiple concurrent projects
• Proven ability to translate strategy into structured program and project plans aligned with business objectives
• Strong experience managing scope, dependencies, budgets, and timelines
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and align stakeholders at both executive and technical levels
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
• Strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented and able to build trust quickly
• Structured thinker with a strategic perspective
• Customer-centric, pragmatic, and a strong problem solver
• Fluent in English
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI) is a plus
• Affinity with innovative technologies, 3D printing, and 3D design is an asset
• Interest in and ability to understand complex processes
