Job description

Throughout the Gardner familyโ€™s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect.

ย Superior Trim Formed Products is looking for a driven candidate to join our team as a materials manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing suppliers, controlling inventory, and coordinating in-bound logistics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create Supplier Releases
  • Manage Inbound Logistics
  • Supplier Scorecards
  • Inventory Management
  • Lead materials cost savings initiatives
  • Continuous Materials Improvement

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing materials, purchasing, or logistics
  • Associates degree, bachelor's degree preferred, in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Experience managing suppliers and negotiating pricing
