About the Role:

$1,250 Sign-On Bonus Available

The Material Handler (2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PMโ€“12:00 AM) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environment during evening operations.

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support manufacturing and shipping operations. The role requires close coordination with inventory control, production teams, and shipping departments to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent production delays. The Material Handler will also maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols and company policies. Ultimately, this position supports overall operational efficiency by ensuring materials are handled and delivered correctly during the second shift.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in warehouse or material handling role, preferably in manufacturing
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems and email communication
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification or other material handling certifications
  • Experience working 2nd shift or non-standard schedules
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory control
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills


Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Store materials in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Pick and stage materials for production and shipping based on schedules and work orders
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve workflow
