Job description

Job Description The Material Handler reports to the Materials/Stockroom Manager and supports production needs including inventory control to kitting product for manufacturing. Job responsibilities include accurate counting, good record keeping, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities
  • Select parts from inventory and prepare kits for manufacturing to build.
  • Count, receive and put away parts into inventory using designated locations.
  • Perform stock transfers.
  • Fill stock requisitions.
  • Perform cycle counting.
  • Review expired lots with Material Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and inventory integrity by adhering to manufacturing practices and procedures.
  • Understand and follow general safety rules and company policies and procedures, including ISO procedures.
  • General housekeeping to keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • 2 Years of Experience Material Handling
  • Computer skills and experience using ERP systems
  • Ability to count parts accurately and input data accurately.
  • Strong understanding of First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory method
  • Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures
  • Familiarity with production environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Fork Truck/ Crown Experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite (Syteline) a plus
