Job description

Material Handler

Employnet is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials throughout the facility to ensure efficient production and shipping processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory records.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines to support manufacturing operations.
  • Store inventory in designated warehouse locations and maintain organized stock areas.
  • Prepare, package, label, and stage products for shipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Identify and report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Basic computer and inventory management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Pay: $19/HR (Days)-$20.50/HR (Swing) Shifts: Day: 6am-2:30pm Swing: 3pm-11:30pm
