Summary:
- The Material Handler II is responsible for receiving, storing, and fulfilling orders while maintaining accurate inventory and information management for finished goods, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at the assigned facility.
- This role ensures efficient warehouse operations, quality service, and timely delivery while supporting distribution activities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements.
Receive materials and finished goods daily; verify quality, type, and quantity against documentation such as packing lists.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update information within the SAP system.
Operate PC applications and systems including Microsoft Excel, E-1, and SAP.
Coordinate warehouse and distribution activities with team members under minimal supervision.
Ensure all warehouse services meet required quality and performance standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of related warehouse, material handling, or receiving experience.
Prior experience in receiving.
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
SAP
Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse best practices.
Ability to manage complex processes with minimal supervision.
Intermediate digital literacy, including ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work with equipment at various heights.
Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including room temperature, cold rooms, and freezer rooms.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills.
