Material Handler (Receiving)
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Location:  Waco, TX
Pay:    $30 per hour
Schedule:   Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM OR 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Position Type:   Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is currently hiring for a Material Handler (Receiving). This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, loading and unloading trucks using a forklift, accurately scanning materials, and moving products to the appropriate locations within the facility. Forklift experience is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy.
  • Scan materials accurately using warehouse scanning equipment.
  • Move materials safely to designated storage, staging, or production areas.
  • Assist with organizing, staging, and maintaining inventory.
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines at all times.
  • Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding material movement, inventory, and receiving needs.
  • Perform additional warehouse or material handling duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be able to start immediately. At this time, we are unable to accommodate candidates who need to give a two-week notice.
  • Forklift experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous receiving, warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Must be comfortable loading and unloading trucks with a forklift.
  • Must be able to accurately scan and track materials.
  • Must be dependable and able to work the assigned shift.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be safety-minded and able to work well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
