Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Material Handler positions in Des Moines, WA. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a Material Handler, while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack parts using a custom picker cart and RF scanner

• Select, verify, organize, and stage aircraft components while maintaining inventory accuracy and quality standards

• Load and unload materials, products, and inventory throughout the warehouse

• Pick, pack, scan, count, and move products accurately using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems

• Operate material-handling equipment and transport inventory safely within the facility

• Maintain organized work areas and follow established procedures to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory control

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse, order picking and material handling experience

• Prior experience using RF or handheld scanners.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to verify part numbers, quantities, and order accuracy

• Ability to quickly learn and retain detailed processes and procedures

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, labor-intensive warehouse environment

• Ability to repeatedly lift 35-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift

• Willing and able to work overtime as required

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
