Job description

The Crew2 Warehouse Material Handlers prepare (measure and cut) carpet and pad for pickup the next day by subcontractors for residential installation. Duties also include unloading pad truck deliveries each week and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and well organized. Pad volume varies by location and weights range from 43 to 86 pounds. Lift support is available in our higher volume warehouses. The role also assists with inventory and handles order paperwork and may be asked to transport materials or provide support to another warehouse on occasion.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately measure and cut carpet and pad based on customer order and prepare/stage for installer pick-up the following morning.
• Unload pad truck and other deliveries as received; store product as instructed, following established systems and processes.
• Ensure that warehouse and surrounding area is clean and organized at all times.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely; completes company-sponsored forklift certification training.
• Organize information as directed for inventory control.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow our safety protocols. Including incident response processes.
• Manages the used carpet/pad drop-off area, ensuring that it is neat and clean.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 40-86 pounds with assistance
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Collaborative; team player
• Understands what good customer service looks and feels like; demonstrates this in action
• Reasonably organized; willing and able to work with established processes
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Note: Must be 21 years or older. Employment in this role is also contingent on passing a background check and a drug screen. May require a Motor Vehicle Report.
Offers $17-18/hr.
