The Opportunity

In this position, you'll be the key connector between external suppliers, factory teams, and technical experts-ensuring every component delivered meets our rigorous standards. You'll manage endtoend supplier quality performance, resolve material issues that affect operations, and champion improvements that keep our supply chain strong, innovative, and resilient.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the full lifecycle of material nonconformity management across manufacturing sites.

  • Coordinate containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Track and analyze supplier-related quality trends to identify risks and improvements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for supplier-related quality issues across factories.

  • Ensure suppliers meet Hitachi Energy standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support supplier audits and verify closure of quality-related findings.

  • Monitor supplier delivery and quality KPIs, including cost and performance metrics.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and disruptions.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years in quality control, manufacturing, supplier development, or operations.

  • Experience with RCA, 8D, and quality methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across global, cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of high-voltage products or process control (preferred).

  • Certifications such as L6S Green Belt or ISO9001 Auditor (preferred).
