Job description

Position title : Classified Document Control Specialist Location : Arlington, Virginia Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Classified Material Control: Manage classified material by logging incoming items into SIMS, preparing distribution documents, and properly packaging outgoing material. Responsibilities also include maintaining the classified document repository, all accountability receipts and files, and photocopying material as directed. * Personnel Security & Credentialing: Manage personnel credentialing by issuing and maintaining Common Access Cards (CACs) via the DEERS/RAPIDS systems and providing SIPRNET Local Registration Authority (LRA) support for token PIN resets. The role also includes serving as the back-up to the CAC Issuing Official as required. * General Security & Administrative Support: Provide general support by assisting the ONR Security Division with tasks like inventory and badge production, maintaining the Emergency Alert Notification system, and serving as the back-up to the Mailroom Clerk as required. Qualifications * Associate's degree from an accredited institution and one (1) year as a classified document control clerk OR a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and three (3) years as a classified document control clerk. * Practical understanding of Security Information Management System (SIMS) or other automated information systems. * Practical understanding of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS). * Current valid driver's license; and Acceptable driving record as evidenced by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
