Job description

Material Handler II

This energetic and detail-oriented Material Handler II plays a critical role in supporting our Distribution Center's operations by receiving, managing the receipt, storage, and inventory control. The MH II will operate DC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to support plant operations.

This position reports to the Distribution Center Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in our Franklin, NH location.

First Second Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Over time at the end of the shift, if necessary).

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving
  • Picking per procedures
  • Packaging and shipping
  • Scanner Operation
  • Provide a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain
  • Perform physical inventories when required
  • Fork and/or Reach truck operations
  • Machine, Assembly and other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials handling or warehouse operations.
  • Proficient math skills and basic computer skills for performing inventory transactions.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical capability to occasionally stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, including for marijuana.
  • Ensure company policies are followed
  • Enforce company safety policies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Distribution Center location in Franklin, NH. Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:30 - 11:00 p.m. (over time as needed on front end of shift).

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
