Job description

Warehouse Associate / Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Pay: $15.27 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (1st Shift)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storing raw materials and finished goods.
  • Load, unload, move, and store materials using a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment.
  • Transport materials between loading docks, trucks, production areas, and storage locations.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and inspect materials for quality.
  • Review shipping and receiving documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Secure shipments using protective materials, strapping equipment, and proper packaging techniques.
  • Stack and organize drums, pallets, skids, and other warehouse supplies in designated storage areas.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory control, and physical inventories.
  • Support production by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of verified sit-down forklift (Powered Industrial Truck) experience preferred.
  • Must successfully complete a practical forklift evaluation prior to hire.
  • Clamp forklift experience is preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners is preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify shipments and inventory.
  • Basic math and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of equipment to prevent damage or loss.
  • High school diploma or GED is not required.
