Boeing Global Services (BGS),Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, checks special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.
  • Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years' related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, etc.
  • 2+ years' experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
