The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for managing exterior facility operations while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, operating heavy machinery, and overseeing seasonal services such as snow and ice management. The technician supports cost control through procurement and warranty processes, leads third-party providers, and maintains vehicle readiness. By fostering a safe and efficient work environment, this position contributes to sustaining facility quality and operational excellence in alignment with Walmart's policies and ethical standards.

The Facilities Services team ensures safe and efficient store operations by managing maintenance, HVAC, refrigeration, and exterior services. As an Exterior Services Technician, you will collaborate with specialized teams to maintain essential systems and support store functions. What you'll do:
  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety protocols and certification requirements.
  • Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.

  • Lead third-party providers, conduct quality assurance inspections, and coach team members for performance improvement.
  • Control costs by sourcing parts and equipment, submitting warranty claims, and preparing budget estimates for projects.
