Job description

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pack & Scan Associate (Forklift Driver) to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential to keeping production and assembly areas running smoothly by ensuring proper packaging is available, finished parts are moved efficiently, and quality standards are consistently met.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 12:00pm-6:15pm and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate equipment and follow company safety procedures.
  • Deliver packaging and materials to work centers and assembly areas before startup.
  • Move finished products from production to the Pack & Scan area for labeling, scanning, and warehouse transfer.
  • Operate forklift to transport materials and ensure proper placement in storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support cycle counts/inventory control.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/Lean practices.
  • Report and address quality or packaging issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including forklift operation and use of scanner equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
  • Demonstrated accuracy in handling inventory, documentation, and lot number verification.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Expectations:
  • Fast-paced manufacturing setting with regular interaction between production, warehouse, and assembly teams.
  • Requires regular forklift use, movement of packaging materials, and handling of finished goods.
