**Job Summary:**

Construction Materials Group is seeking a versitile Flatbed Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a dual role position that daily duties are determined by customer and market demand.  Primarily the position is responsible for the ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a truck with a GVW under 26,000 lbs. While not delivering construction supplies, the candidate will assist in maintaining an organized warehoue and yard while loading and unliading construction materials.


**Duties:**

- Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport goods over short and long distances

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Load and unload bulky construction materials by fork truck, dump bed, or manually.

- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies

- Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor immediately

- Safely operare a fork truck in the act of loading delivery vehicles, loading customer vehicles, and unload inbound materials.

- Clean and organize a working warehouse and building materials yard


**Qualifications:**

- Ability to safely work without constant supervision

- Complies with direction and exibits strong problem solving skills

- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including fork trucks and flatbed trucks

- Experience with loading/unloading and securing freight

- Ability to frequently lift 55lbs

- Familiarity with city driving and navigation systems

- Understanding of basic warehouse and yard layout

- Experience in a construction site delivery a plus

- Clean driving record for the past 3 years

- Willing to provide a pre-employment drug screen
