Job description

Material Support Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in aluminum parts, is seeking a dedicated Material Support Operator to join their team. As a Material Support Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the packing, trailer loading, and material handling processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $18+/hour

Shift: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30 am-2:30 pm

OR

C Shift: Thursday, 12:30 pm -6:30 pm, Friday-Sunday 6:30 am-6:30 pm

  • Exhibit active leadership to support the company's vision and safety culture
  • Ensure safety is prioritized by following all safety programs and guidelines
  • Set up and operate equipment efficiently to meet quality and output standards
  • Accurately fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing specifications and performing inspections
  • Package and load aluminum parts onto trailers based on customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize inspection equipment properly
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
