Material Associate
POSITION: Materials Associate
DESCRIPTION
Deliver raw materials from warehouse storage areas to the manufacturing floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interface with manufacturing regarding shipment and delivery information.
  • Deliver raw materials to the manufacturing floor.
  • Scan material movements into SAP.
  • Stock shelves from bulk skids of materials.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory in line-side storage areas.
  • Ensure FIFO within the warehouse and delivery.
  • Maintain returnable decant tote loop.
  • Decant incoming material into returnable totes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to handle many things at once; good record keeping.
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Required to work overtime as scheduled.
  • Must have a customer service orientation.
  • Previous [barcode] scanning experience.
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace.
  • Operate tow motor.
