Location of Position: Alabaster, AL (on-site)
Summary of Position:
Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner and assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products.
Shift: 5pm- 1am | Pay: $19.31-20.40/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Receive raw materials upon arrival and stock warehouse once system transactions are completed.
  • Stock production work cells with glass and/or raw materials to produce products for sale to customers.
  • Operate Forklift to move materials to component racks.
  • Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Perform SAP transactions in support of receiving material and movements to work cell.
  • Support Shipping Department by loading and unloading trucks when needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Support any other function.
  • Required to support FIFO when stocking component racks, or production work cells.
  • Must maintain a clean safety record.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 3 years of forklift experience is preferred.
  • Good safety record.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
  • Possess good problem solving and reasoning skills.
  • Demonstrated know-how on all paperwork.
  • Passes drug screening and background check.
  • Practice continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable to the changing daily production requirements.
  • Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
