Leora Behavioral Health offers a full continuum of outpatient care to help support as many clients as possible. Their programs include a day treatment program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and general outpatient program. They also provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), ambulatory detox, and case management services. Leora helps clients receive the support and treatment they need.

Position Summary

The Business Development Liaison serves as the primary representative of our organization within the community. This role focuses on developing and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, therapists, social service agencies, employers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong networking abilities and a passion for behavioral healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, community organizations, and treatment facilities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and referral sources within the Columbus market.
  • Conduct regular outreach visits, presentations, and educational events to increase awareness of our services.
  • Promote outpatient mental health and SUD treatment programs to referral partners and community stakeholders.
  • Track referral activity, business development metrics, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and admissions processes.
  • Attend networking events, professional meetings, and community outreach activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of behavioral health services, industry regulations, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and marketing campaigns.
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of business development, healthcare marketing, admissions, outreach, or referral development experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or healthcare services.
  • Existing professional relationships within the Columbus healthcare community.
  • Knowledge of outpatient treatment programs, insurance processes, and referral management.
