Job description

The Department of Strategic Communication is creating a pool of qualified candidates for part-time lecturer positions for openings during the 2026-2027 academic year. Possible areas may include but are not limited to courses in:

  • Public Relations
  • Event Management
  • Advertising
  • Media Planning
  • Visualization/Graphic Design
  • International Communications
  • Research Methods

Terminal degree (Ph.D., M.F.A., or M.B.A.) or nonterminal masterโ€™s degree preferred. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in a public relations or advertising-related area of strategic communication and substantial industry experience may also be considered. We prioritize candidates who have a record of successful college teaching and who share our commitment to professional preparation within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education.

Hiring rate: $2,059.25 per credit hour.
