Senior Public Health Nutritionist - 64005668

The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County is seeking a Senior Public Health Nutritionist. This position is open competitive and requires a valid and current Florida License to practice dietetics. The incumbent will certify clients, identify nutrition risks, assign food packages, provide breastfeeding education, and perform various nutrition assessments and counseling. Effective verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of local, state, and federal Women, Infants and Children Program policies, and proficiency in computer applications are required. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree or master's degree in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Home Economics with emphasis in Nutrition. The position is located at 1158 Bell Shoals Rd, Unit 101, Brandon, FL 33511.
