Job Responsibilities:

       Portfolio Pricing:

  • Lead and advance pricing tools within Gorilla Glass to ensure a design that is sustainable given Gorilla Glass' inherent business model complexity and future growth expectations
  • Perform scenario analyses to understand the financial and commercial impact of potential changes
  • Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies effectively.
  • Build set of recommendations through strong analytical work in order to improve Gorilla Glass price and market position

    Strategy and Forecasting:

  • Lead long-term strategic projects related to the improvement of our global pricing
  • Work closely with forecasting team to define budget and 5-year plan, identify key market drivers and suggest strategy to maximize our share, revenue and margin
  • Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular reviews to assess the impact of pricing strategies on revenue and profitability.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining pricing performance and recommendations for improvement.

Commercial Proposal negotiations:

  • Lead alignment with account teams on pricing execution and contract negotiation strategy, based on portfolio pricing analysis
  • Present the key findings to the business leadership and drive the approval process on specific negotiation actions
  • Ensure pricing strategies comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Implement and maintain pricing governance frameworks to manage pricing approvals and escalations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, product line management, forecasting, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals
  • Provide pricing guidance and support to regional sales and product management teams during contract negotiations and customer engagements

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical discipline, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of commercial experience
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, ability to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, capable of fully owning a complex strategy project with limited supervision
  • Ability to think outside of the box and bring innovative ideas to the pricing and product line teams
  • Demonstrated self-confidence, ability to effectively communicate and influence senior management
  • Potential to grow into commercial leadership roles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Process oriented, ability to lead reengineering of processes
  • Ability to reinforce contracts and defend tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey pricing strategies and recommendations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals
  • Ability and willingness to work in the evenings to engage with international colleagues (multiple nights per week; weekdays only)

The range for this position is $100,646.00 - $138,388.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
