An exciting full-time Infectious Disease physician opportunity is available in Lima, Ohio within a well-established healthcare system focused on advanced infection management and patient safety. This role offers physicians the chance to work in a collaborative hospital environment managing complex infectious diseases while supporting system-wide infection prevention initiatives.

This position is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Infectious Disease physician seeking long-term career stability, clinical impact, and leadership opportunities in antimicrobial stewardship and infection control programs. The physician will provide specialized consultations, guide evidence-based treatment strategies, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.


Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections
• Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultations
• Support and lead infection prevention and control initiatives
• Guide antimicrobial stewardship programs and appropriate antibiotic use
• Manage complex infectious disease cases and treatment plans
