Job description

SUMMARY

This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the shared service center. The shared service center is the first line of contact for managers or employees HR related questions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide exemplary customer service to employees, managers, and the HR Team. Exemplary customer service will be demonstrated through conflict mitigation, providing appropriate and timely answers to questions, escalating unresolved concerns through the ticket system for resolution. Monitor ticket issue resolution when assigned for timeliness within 48 hours.
  1. As assigned, manage the timely and accurate on-boarding and document management for new hires and rehires including:
    1. Managing I-9 and E-verify process for all assigned hires and rehires, communicate Tentative Non-Confirmations, follow-up and communicate to HRM any pending issues for resolution on a timely basis. Ensure confirmation receipt is recorded.
    2. Completing employment verification including all required background checks, references, drug tests, and physicals, actioning adverse findings as appropriate.
    3. Review and record all required documentation and relevant licenses and certifications.
    4. Issuing Total Pay cards in the absence of a direct deposit designation.
  1. Respond and manage unemployment claims including hearings. Ensure timely follow up and issue escalation to the relevant HRM.
  1. Coordinate required interval documentation certification and oversight for respective business units including but not limited to Kraft Soccer and DOT.
  1. Remain proficient and current in all HR Disciplines to ensure optimal problem resolution and service. Administer all employment practices and policies in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local Law.
  1. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  1. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Professional, friendly and team oriented.
  • Results driven, gets things done.
  • Ability to operate in a confidential work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of state/federal laws and regulations pertaining to labor, benefits and compensation preferred.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend events, both in person and remotely, as required. 
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
