The Manager, Data Integrity safeguards and maintains patient healthcare information and determines appropriate action to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in various databases. You will also ensure that existing policies regarding operation of HIM systems are consistent with HIPAA mandates and policies and provide ongoing analysis of department processes in order to implement and maintain the HIM computer systems. Identifies department and organizational needs and participates in the decision making of the design and structure of the computer applications to meet those needs. Develops analytical problem solving and non-linear thinking skills among the team

Position: Manager, Data Integrity
Shift: days
Experience:
Five to seven years of progressive work experience in Health Information Management or Health Data Analytics, Health Data Integrity and/or Business Intelligence or other related education and experience are required.

3-5 years progressive management experience is required

Experience working in EPIC or other electronic health record management software is required

Experience with Document Management System DMS is strongly preferred

Experience and background with HL7 transactions and interfaces is required

Experience with database conversions is strongly preferred
Education:
Bachelor's in Health Information Technology or related field, such as Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or Biostatistics is required

Ongoing and professional development training in Health Information Management, Health Data Analytics, Health Data Integrity and Business Intelligence is required to stay current with changing healthcare trends and technology
Licensures/Certifications:
Preferred Credentials: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Information Governance Professional Certification (IGP)Data analytics and/or Health Informatics such as CHDA or CPHI
