Senior Data Analyst (Part-Time)

Integrated Musculoskeletal Care (IMC) | Tallahassee, FL | Part-Time

About IMC

Integrated Musculoskeletal Care (IMC) delivers musculoskeletal care through in-person treatment, telehealth, health coaching, and digital tools. IMC has developed a Data Science Department that provides clients and other IMC departments with analysis and processing of big data on secure cloud resources. The Data Science Department supports the broader programming efforts of the organization as well as providing strategic advice on best practices in Data Science as it relates to IMC initiatives.

About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst leads IMC's analytics and data management — turning client, operational, and clinical data into insight while safeguarding sensitive PHI and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Working closely with executive leadership, this cross-functional role spans research, cloud data infrastructure, information security, business development, and company IT strategy.

What You’ll Do

IMC Research Activity

· Perform analysis in support of client needs

· Perform analysis in support of operational research needs

· Design and oversee analyses in support of clinical needs and publications

Support IMC Data Management

· Work with operations team to receive and manage data associated with existing and new clients including claims, eligibility, patient activity and other data sources

· Research and utilize state-of-the-art cloud resources

· Work with Application Development Team to manage data associated with existing and new applications

Application Development

· Work with Director of Technology Systems to create technological solutions associated with existing and new applications

· Work with Application Development Team as needed to achieve application development goals

· Learn basics of maintaining/repairing application functions to serve as backup for team

Manage IMC Client Data Storage

· Work with Operations Team to receive and manage data associated with existing and new clients

· Research and utilize state-of-the-art solutions to data management

· Oversee cloud storage resources and secure access to same

· Ensure that claims PHI is not stored locally and has segregated access

Business Development

· Work with CEO, President, and VP of Operations on servicing new business leads and development of leads into clients primarily through opportunity analyses

· Provide content for presentations on IMC programs to potential clients (may require travel)

· Create new approaches for understanding client data

· Work in coordination with the VP of Operations on client management related to data analysis

· Prepare data and summaries for periodic business reviews

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Statistics, or a related field (required)

· Master’s in Data Analytics, Information Security, MIS, or an MBA with technical concentration (preferred)

· 5+ years’ experience in Data Analytics or Information Security (preferred)

· Preferred technical skills include experience with Python, AWS, SQL, and Tableau

· Onsite (preferred) or Remote (must reside in FL, SC, GA, AL, UT, IN, LA, PA, or AZ only)

Schedule & Compensation

· $38.46 – 48.08/ hourly

· Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications

· Part-time: approximately 20 hours per week
