Job Description:
  • Communicates and documents patient information effectively.
  • Performs and interprets the results of physiological assessment accurately, recognizing high-risk individuals and designing/referring appropriate exercise prescription.
  • Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients using test data, patient status, and current medication regimen.
  • Monitors patients' response to therapy and revises plans accordingly.
  • Provides exercise information for patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and education classes.
  • Ensures department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary committees, Performance Improvement activities, staff and student development.

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
• in Exercise Science or related field
Work Experience:
• 1+ experience with the application of exercise concepts/techniques/methods in a biological or medical setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Pay Range:
$20.04 - $37.27
