Job description

The Miami, FL office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc. is seeking Structural Bridge Design Engineers with experience in Bridge Design 


What We’re Looking For 
  • Registered PE in the State of Florida
  • 15 related years of related Bridge design experience preferably in Florida.
  • A minimum of a BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
    • MS preferred
  • Experience in pursuing and managing multi-discipline projects, including projects with bridge replacement, new bridge alignment, or bridge rehabilitation.
  • Client Relationships with FDOT District Four and FDOT District Six.
  • Ability to work in a team environment on related projects.
  • Good oral and written communications skills, with a fluency in English

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage the planning, design, and delivery of bridge projects from concept through construction.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Prepare proposals and marketing presentations.
  • Pursue and win projects with FDOT and local agency clients
  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate project teams, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for bridge designs.
