Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
As the Senior Manager, Data Science, you will lead advanced analytics initiatives to drive strategic business decisions. This role requires expertise in data science, optimization, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python and SQL to develop scalable models and insights. You will oversee data quality and visualization efforts while aligning analytics solutions with business requirements and metrics. Collaborating across teams, you will ensure the effective application of data driven strategies to optimize operations and support organizational goals within a dynamic environment.
  About the team:
This team leads the design and fulfillment strategy for Walmart’s eCommerce network, focusing on inbound and outbound operations. Their analytical models guide significant capital investments and support Walmart’s eCommerce growth. Key responsibilities include optimizing the location and capacity of inbound nodes, managing capacity by commodity type at fulfillment centers, and scheduling facility builds within budget limits. The team applies advanced data science, optimization, machine learning, and operations research techniques to solve complex business challenges, ensuring efficient network performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
