Tenure-Track, Rank Open Faculty in Computer Science - Computer Science & Information Systems
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the Sanders College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama (UNA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2024. The department offers a BS in Computer Science, a BS in Information Technology, a BBA in Computer Information Systems, and an MBA concentration in Information Systems. All undergraduate programs are ABET-accredited. The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, on-campus and online course delivery, academic advising, scholarly research, and university service. Involvement in professional organizations and engagement with the professional business community are encouraged.
An earned doctorate in computer science is required. ABDs will be considered if all degree requirements are met prior to the date of the appointment.

Transcripts with a designation of "Issued to Student", or with the student name listed as the recipient will not be considered official. Official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate prior to the start date of the appointment, but unofficial copies will be accepted for the application process.
