Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead migration of an end-of-life third-party application to an internally developed solution using a modern tech stack.
- Deliver production-ready, full-stack web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end (React).
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and QA/SDET to drive project clarity and successful outcomes, even with evolving requirements.
- Develop responsive enterprise web applications utilizing React.
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and/or Java; show flexibility to work across both.
- Integrate or develop Python web services or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn.
- Utilize SQL and relational database concepts for application development (deep SQL Server expertise not required).
- Design and maintain business rules using Drools (DRL) and decision tables.
- Work with rule engines, decisioning systems, or BRMS-like patterns for executing business rules against datasets.
- Develop data processing applications using Hadoop ecosystem technologies (Hive, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Impala).
- Apply DevOps fundamentals, including service accounts, scheduled/batch job management, and end-to-end data flow.
- Demonstrate AI fluency by leveraging AI tools for engineering tasks, understanding their capabilities, limitations, and safe usage.
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to increase development productivity while ensuring code quality.
- Communicate effectively to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
