Job Description About the Role Our client is a fast-growing company (75+ team members and counting) that builds training content, digital publications, and software products for a specialized industrial sector. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build modern, scalable applications, largely greenfield, across internal and client-facing products. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs on the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core), with a focus on reliability, security, and performance Design SQL Server database schemas and write efficient queries and data access code Contribute to front-end components as needed using React, Vite, or Next.js Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design discussions Integrate applications with identity providers (Entra ID or Auth0) and enterprise systems such as LMS, EAM, and HCM platforms Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; build proofs-of-concept to evaluate new tools Work with Docker, Azure infrastructure-as-code (Bicep), and message brokers (Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ) Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Use AI development tools responsibly to speed up scaffolding, refactoring, and testing Who We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in C# and modern .NET 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure specifically Strong back-end focus, with working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks Comfortable using AI tools thoughtfully within the development lifecycle Not open to recent graduates - this is a senior-level role Nice to have: Unity Realtime engine experience Experience displaying multimedia (3D models, photos, video) in applications Agentic AI dev tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) NoSQL databases, data pipeline integration Azure networking (VNets, App Gateways, API Management) CQRS pattern experience
