• Perform in-depth assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health needs.
• Craft individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based methodologies to address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions using effective techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and case managers to provide integrated care tailored to each client’s unique journey.
• Educate and involve clients' family members in the recovery process through workshops and support sessions to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in supporting their loved ones.
• Maintain detailed and confidential case records compliant with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

You will primarily work with individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders, including both adults and adolescents. We emphasize the importance of addressing the whole person, which includes mental health considerations alongside addiction rehabilitation. Your expertise will help clients overcome personal barriers, develop coping strategies, and create sustainable paths toward recovery.

• A valid license in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven theoretical understanding of addiction treatment methods and co-occurring disorders, with knowledge of current best practices.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• At least two years of hands-on experience working in mental health counseling or addiction treatment settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and online therapy platforms.
• Specialized training or certification in addiction counseling.
