Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner at Iron Gate Health & Pain Center, you will operate in a unique work environment that combines office visits with house calls. This setup allows you to engage directly with patients in their own environments, thus fostering stronger relationships and better understanding of their healthcare needs. You will work Monday to Friday in a full-time capacity, totaling 40 hours per week, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. The collaborative atmosphere encourages teamwork, with seamless communication among physicians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed physical examinations and meticulously gather patient medical histories to form comprehensive patient profiles.
  • Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, implementing timely and effective treatment protocols.
  • Develop, execute, and adjust individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, taking into consideration their lifestyle and preferences.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and blood tests to inform clinical decisions.
  • Provide impactful patient education sessions focusing on disease prevention, pain management techniques, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess patient progress and adjust care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records through electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Iron Gate Health & Pain Center, you will primarily provide care to a diverse patient population, including those with chronic pain issues, sports injuries, and rehabilitation needs. You will tailor your approach to accommodate various demographics and health backgrounds, facilitating inclusive healthcare delivery that promotes effective communication and trust.

Qualifications
  • A valid Registered Nurse Licensure in New York.
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization.
  • 2 years of demonstrable clinical experience in pain management or similar clinical settings.
  • Excellent clinical skills along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Adept at working independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience is required, candidates with prior roles in concierge medicine or those familiar with house call practices will be viewed favorably. Additionally, experience with electronic health records (EHR) platforms is beneficial for maintaining accurate patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
