Job description

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center proudly offers a Medical Education Fellowship located in Hershey, PA. This remarkable Fellowship will significantly impact future career opportunities in Emergency Medicine.

We offer:
  • Work part time ~8 shifts/mo. as an attending in the emergency department of our tertiary-care hospital for 15 counties and highly diverse patient population.
  • Teach and supervise learners including EM residents, off-service rotating residents, medical students, APPs and APP Fellows.
  • Work with our educational leadership team to learn how to run programs in undergraduate and graduate medical education.
  • Teaching opportunities in large-group didactics, small group facilitations and our 10,000 square foot simulation lab.
  • Internal and external training opportunities to expand your educational skills.
  • Ability to earn a Master's in Education (in 2 years) or a Certificate in Education (in 1 year) through PSU World Campus.
Requirements:
  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of accredited Emergency Medicine Residency
  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine
  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania medical license
