Title:

Integrated Master Scheduler

Job Summary

The Integrated Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that support critical program objectives across multiple project phases. This position serves as a key member of the program team, ensuring schedule integration, alignment, and visibility for program leadership and customer stakeholders. The role evaluates program performance through schedule analysis, identifies potential risks to execution, and develops actionable mitigation strategies to support successful outcomes. Working across engineering, program management, operations, and customer organizations, the Integrated Master Scheduler provides accurate and timely schedule reporting that enables informed decision-making. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate complex activities while maintaining compliance with customer and contractual scheduling requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support program execution, planning, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate schedule risks impacting critical path activities, milestones, deliverables, and program objectives.
  • Perform schedule variance analysis and develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies to address delays and execution challenges.
  • Apply advanced scheduling methodologies and best practices to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain schedule integrity across multiple project phases.
  • Coordinate with program management, engineering, operations, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment and integration.
  • Maintain standardized IMS structures and schedule documentation in accordance with government-approved formats and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc schedule updates, status reports, metrics, and leadership briefings to support strategic decision-making.
  • Track key dependencies, milestones, and program performance indicators to ensure visibility into schedule health and execution status.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of mission and business requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10 years of experience in program scheduling, project controls, planning, or Integrated Master Scheduling.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs or projects.
  • Experience performing critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Experience preparing schedule status reports and supporting program reviews for management or government customers.
  • Experience coordinating schedule activities across multiple functional organizations and project stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. government, aerospace, defense, or large-scale engineering programs.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and program control processes.
  • Experience supporting schedule compliance reviews, audits, or DCMA scheduling requirements.
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
