Job description

The Lubin School of Business at Pace University invites applications for afull-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics and General Management. The start date for this position is September 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will teach courses in the Department of Management and Management Science, conduct research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals, and perform service supporting students and various levels of the University. While based in the New York City campus, the faculty should be willing to teach on the Pleasantville campus or online as needed. Exceptional candidates would be able to demonstrate prior experience developing and teaching courses and leading research projects to publication. Moreover, successful candidates will also have a studentโ€‘centric mindset and an established record of teaching with strong evaluations. Lastly, successful candidates need to be serviceโ€‘orientedโ€”a willing and able team player who genuinely cares for the needs of her/his Department, School, and University.

Requirements

Candidates must have earned (or completed all requirements for) a Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Management Science, or a closely related field by August 31, 2027. They should have experience teaching Business Analytics and General Management courses. They will also exhibit strong research productivity. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as strong relationshipโ€‘building and organizational skills, are essential. Preference is given to candidates who are flexible in teaching courses outside their research areas, as needed by the department.
