Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Data Quality & Stewardship Lead to support DCDC/USCYBERCOM with data platform integration efforts and ensure full DAO compliance across specific data management functions. 

Location: Fort Meade, MD. 

Tasks include:

  • Support the USCYBERCOM Data Working Group
  • Work with the AI Task Force
  • Establish governance frameworks to align platform usage with organizational policies and ensure all datasets and tools comply with cybersecurity standards and legal regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, and legal regulations.
  • Define and establish data quality standards and metrics
  • Manage data stewardship program - multiple contractors assigned to support this effort
  • Oversee data life-cycle management
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider Associate +14, or HS +16 years of experience.
  • Strong data governance experience. Must be able to perform and oversee data preparation, transformation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and interoperability.
  • Knowledge of data management frameworks 
  • Understanding of compliance requirements
  • Experience with data quality programs
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field 
  • Certification in one of the following:
    • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) - Associate, Practitioner, or Master 
    • Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification 
    • Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) in Data Governance
  • Familiar with DAMA Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • TS SCI clearance

Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
