Job description

Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
The Associate Material Planning Analyst will support the coordination and execution of Inventory Management including storeroom replenishment, vendor execution, department process, as well as supporting overall system data integrity.
Essential Functions:
  • Monitors inventory levels and material demand for assigned location(s) and replenishes inventory ensuring appropriate on-hand quantities.
  • Assists with maintaining accurate records of corporate inventory and assigned location(s).
  • Works with assigned locations and suppliers to ensure Eversource inventory needs are supported in a timely accurate manner.
  • Expedites past due orders with suppliers and communicates delivery information to business partners.
  • Maintains Open order integrity
  • Item Master data maintenance, adding new items, revisions, and phase out/phase in.
  • Assists with coordination of quarantined materials, return to vendor, follow through to final disposition.
  • Assists other analysts on major projects.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Suite (Excel; Word; PowerPoint, etc.)

Education:

Working Conditions:
  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
