Job description

Join our volunteer community! Massage Volunteers Needed. EvergreenHealth Hospice is one of the few remaining not-for-profit Hospice services in the region. We support patients and their families all over King and Snohomish counties. We rely on caring neighbors to bring the gift of touch to our patients. Massage Volunteers hold an active Massage License and understand that a very gentle touch is required. All volunteers complete a comprehensive Hospice Core Training and specialized position training. We will teach you the practical and emotional skills you need to confidently spend time alongside the dying while helping them enjoy their life.

Massage Volunteers are truly serving their neighbors -- in private homes, adult family homes, skilled nursing facilities, or at the Hospice Care Center on our Kirkland campus. You choose your assignment, based on your own criteria (location, day of the week, what is being requested).

Massage Volunteers are integral members of the hospice team. They are supported by the Volunteer Coordinators, by the other members of the patient's care team, and, if needed, by our Bereavement Coordinators.
