Job description

Mason Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our team. The Mason will construct and repair brick, stone, and concrete structures and surfaces, as well as provide a high level of craftsmanship to ensure that all projects are completed with superior quality. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.


Mason Duties and Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair walls, chimneys, and other brick, stone, and concrete structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and other documents to determine the specifications of a project
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar and other adhesives
  • Cut and shape bricks, stone, and other materials to be used in a project
  • Use specialized tools and equipment such as chisels, hammers, and saws to complete projects
  • Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with safety regulations and standards
  • Perform other tasks as requested


Mason Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Mason or related field preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other documents
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
