Location: Based in Haydenville | Serving Western MA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Year-Round Position

Done Right Chimney is seeking a skilled Masonry Technician to join our restoration team. This role involves hands-on chimney and fireplace masonry—including repointing, rebuilding, and crown work. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with brick, block, and mortar experience looking for steady, year-round employment with a respected local company.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Rebuild and repoint chimneys and fireboxes.
  • Pour and coat concrete and mortar crowns.
  • Set flue tiles and install concrete wash crowns.
  • Perform masonry repairs in accordance with NFPA standards and building codes.
  • Assist with hearth and appliance installations as needed.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-documented job sites.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
  • Daily roof access and ladder use are required—this is a rooftop trade.
  • Ability to safely use scaffolding, fall protection, and site safety gear
  • Lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of masonry experience (residential or light commercial preferred).
  • Proficiency with mortar finishing, brick/block work, and masonry tools.
