Our team of professionals prepare design plans for new construction and renovation projects in education, healthcare & utility market sectors, among others. With a long history of working relationships within the St. Louis region, we've also had the opportunity to work on iconic projects such as Busch Stadium, the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Zoo, City Park - the new MLS Stadium and more!
Our St. Louis Civil team is looking for an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer who is ready to jump in and support the team. Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree, has 1+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including internships & has successfully passed the FE exam.

Essential Duties:
  • Prepares engineering plans utilizing AutoCAD/Revit or similar design platforms.
  • Assists in production of final construction drawings, details, and specifications
  • Prepares reports and calculations based on assigned project(s) including assessments, analysis, opinions of cost and other key components
  • Assists project managers as requested.
  • Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • May perform site investigations and inspections in the field during and post construction.
  • Attends client and public meetings as needed
  • Participates in and conducts research on local regulations based on project location(s)
  • Participate in business development efforts as requested.
  • Provides technical support and assistance to project teams in the preparation and delivery of project deliverables.
  • Works collaboratively with project managers, senior engineers, and project team members to support the coordination, completeness, and accuracy of project deliverables and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrate the potential or ability to lead technical efforts as part of the overall design process
  • Follow and abide by the DMA employee and safety manuals
  • Completes other duties as assigned
