Job description

Salary: $42,000 - $50,000 per year

Experience: 2+ years preferred

Position: Masonry Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and bids for masonry, brick, CMU, and stone projects.

• Review construction plans, specifications, and project documents.

• Perform material and labor takeoffs.

• Obtain and compare material and subcontractor pricing.

• Develop detailed project proposals and scopes of work.

• Coordinate with suppliers, General Contractors, and project managers.

• Track bids, deadlines, and follow-ups.

• Identify potential project risks, exclusions, and cost changes.

• Maintain organized estimating records and pricing information.

Requirements

• 2+ years of masonry or construction estimating experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of brick, CMU, manufactured stone, and cast stone.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Strong knowledge of masonry materials, labor, and production rates.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
