Position Summary
The Instructor/Administrative Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and supporting the program's day-to-day administrative operations. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to ensure effective instruction, accurate recordkeeping, and efficient program management. Potential to teach a variety of classes, including Medication Aide (with clinicals required), CNA (with clinicals required), IV Skills, CPR, Medication Aide continuing education, and others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Instructional Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver engaging instructional content that meets curriculum objectives.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
Provide timely feedback, guidance, and academic support to students.
Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment.
Ensure instructional practices comply with organizational policies and accreditation standards.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain student files and program documentation.
Assist in scheduling classes, instructors, and training activities as assigned.
Assist with student enrollment, orientation, and program completion processes.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and required documentation.
Coordinate communication between students, faculty, and administration.
Monitor inventory and order instructional supplies when needed.
Assist with program planning, special events, and meetings.
Support compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and responding to phone and email inquiries.
Assist in marketing development and implementation.
Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
LPN or RN required
At least one year combined long-term care experience
Experience teaching or training adults preferred.
Previous administrative or office management experience preferred.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, if necessary.
Ability to use computers and standard office equipment.
Work Schedule
Full-time
Typical hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4 pm]
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
