Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for an Office Administrative Coordinator to join our team in its Wilmington office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in building a long-term career within law firm administration and operations.
The Office Administrative Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting multiple business functions across the firm, including Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Attorney Professional Development, and Information Technology support coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced professional environment where strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day office operations and administrative functions across multiple departments.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, scheduling, and conference logistics.
  • Assist with attorney professional development initiatives, including training coordination, orientation programs, attorney registrations, and continuing legal education logistics.
  • Provide administrative assistance related to recruiting, HR initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing and business development initiatives, client-facing events, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Assist with finance-related administrative tasks, reporting, and invoice coordination.
  • Maintain legal and administrative records with accuracy, discretion, and strict confidentiality.
  • Draft, proofread, and distribute professional correspondence, reports, and firm communications.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives assigned by firm leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience supporting office operations, or legal administration.
  • Prior experience within a law firm, legal department, or litigation environment strongly preferred.
Skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional business correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced use of Outlook calendaring and scheduling functions.
  • Ability to interact effectively with attorneys, firm leadership, court personnel, clients, and administrative professionals.
  • Familiarity with attorney professional development or law firm operations is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
